Queer creators have produced some of pop culture’s most iconic images of the future, and now it’s your turn. Teaching artist and drag activist Sylvia O’Stayformore will guide youth and adult participants through a fabulous voyage of self-discovery, diving into dreams and visions while gathering the skills to achieve their own personal form of drag success.
Then it’s off to glory as participants parade from MoPOP to Seattle Rep for a showcase and fun-first group number.

Sylvia O‘Stayformore has been the consummate hostess in Seattle since 1997. Sylvia is a local celebrity in over 2000 hundred drag shows, brunches, fundraisers, benefits, cabarets, radio shows, movies, weddings, premiers, openings and plays. Currently the producer of one of Seattle’s most successful nights out; Bacon Strip (est 2005 to current). She can also be seen Rainbow Bingos (Sylvia's Rainbow Bingos) all around Seattle, Ballard, Carnation, Columbia City, South Park, West Seattle Senior Center, Mt Si, Vashon Island, Whidbey Island, Edmonds and Lake Forest Park/Shoreline. She also does fundraisers for different political and charitable organizations and is a regular guest on the Peaches Christ Productions out of San Francisco. Out Magazine voted Sylvia as the hottest drag queen in America of the moment in 2003. Recently recognized in the New York Times, LA Times and Seattle Times and News for her Children’s Story Hour in Renton Washington at Brew Masters Taproom. Sylvia loves Dionne Warwick, bad boys with big hair, long rides on her Vespa, Thrift stores, road trips in her Grand Marquis to the coast, late night poetry shows, Facebook, Instagram & Tab and Seven.
